  • Easy identification

  • Zero profile screw head

Procedure Description
Cranial fixation plates are used as bone fixation devices for; cranioplasties, craniotomies and maxillofacial surgeries. A cranioplasty is performed mostly after traumatic injuries to surgically repair a bone defect in the skull that's left behind after a previous operation or injury. The cranial defect may be either cosmetic or functional.

The titanium mesh plate design enables effective 3D contouring, allowing for a close anatomical fit. A craniotomy is the surgical removal of part of the bone from the skull to expose the brain. The bone flap is temporarily removed, then replaced after the brain surgery has been performed. Fixation of the bone flap is performed using the zero profile titanium plates and screws. Oral & Maxillofacial surgery (OMS) specializes in treating many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the Oral (mouth) and Maxillofacial (jaws and face) region.
